How It works

DockyDock’s are customizable to fit your vessel and docking situation. DockyDock is slim by design making the footprint about the same size as your boat and actually smaller in some instances. DockyDock’s unique design makes docking your vessel easier, a simple drop gate at the rear of the hull cover is easy to lower when you’re ready to undock and lift back after you docked. Once the gate is up, turn on the pump to remove all the excess water from inside the cover, leaving your hull dry and completely protected. The floating sides of the DockyDock are either inflatable or foam filled, both options are extremely durable. The DockyDock easily ties onto whatever you are currently docking on without any extra strain or stress. To keep it simple, DockyDock is a cover for your vessels hull that is made for any type of wet docking situation that you are in.

You do not have to pump the water out at all. Barnacles need water movement, oxygen and food to survive so barnacles will not grow, algae will still collect on your boat hull if you do not pump out the water. We strongly recommend pumping out the water as it keeps your boat hull nice and dry, with zero growth. Rain water may collect as well but this is fresh water so will not harm the boat at all.

No the barnacles and other sea creatures will not grow inside the DockyDock as long as the DockyDock is closed and the boat and the water inside is enclosed. The reason there will be no barnacles or other sea creatures is because there will be no drift of food and oxygen therefore starving the microscopic creatures from nourishment and they will die.
